What is the difference between the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold?

The Galaxy Z Flip folds in half top to bottom, so a full-size phone becomes a small square that fits in any pocket, with a cover screen for notifications and selfies. The Galaxy Z Fold opens like a book into a tablet-sized screen, which is better for videos, reading and using two apps side by side.

Which Samsung flip phone should I buy?

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is the newest and has the biggest cover screen. The Flip7 FE is a lower-priced version. The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Flip6 are good value, and the Flip3 and Flip4 are the lowest-priced ways into a folding phone.

Are refurbished folding phones reliable?

Yes. We test the hinge, the inner and cover screens and every other function, and every folding phone has at least 80% battery health, with our warranty and 30-day returns.

Are Samsung folding phones waterproof?

They are water resistant, not waterproof. Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold models from the Flip3 and Fold3 onwards are rated to survive being dropped in fresh water, but sand and dust can damage the hinge, so keep them out of sandy places.

Which grade should I choose?

Grades only describe how the phone looks. Choose Excellent if you want it to look like new, Very Good for minor marks only visible under direct light, or Good for the lowest price. See our grades guide for details.

How long is the warranty?

12 months as standard. Phones bought between 1 October and 25 December 2026 come with a 15-month warranty. Your warranty length is recorded on your order.

How much is delivery?

Standard delivery is free and takes 2 to 3 working days. Express delivery is €5.99 for 1 to 2 working days. Dublin same-day delivery is €9.99 for orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Saturday.

Can I return my phone?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, with a free return label for Irish customers. See returns and refunds.
